Most of the furniture retailers on FurnitureDealer.Net’s proprietary website platform have very similar homepage layouts. The goal was to use the wireframe template to create a unique homepage experience for each retailer--one that communicates each store’s history, values, brand and product selection.
To complete each homepage design, I worked with each retailer’s in-house website manager and their client relations contact at FurnitureDealer.Net.
I was able to tell each retailer’s unique brand story without customizing the layout of their homepage. This enabled their website to automatically be updated when platform-level updates were made.
Pilgrim Furniture City is a furniture retailer with four locations in the heart of Connecticut. It is a family-owned shop selling a unique set of products. The goal for their site design was to make a long home page with a lot of big, beautiful imagery communicating their most important values, so shoppers can become more and more inspired as they scroll down.
Visit WebsiteWith many locations throughout Oregon, this company has been in the family for over 30 years. They are dedicated to creating enjoyable shopping experiences for their customers. The site uses many faded textures and bold white text to give it the quirky boutique feeling that Oregon is known for.
Visit WebsiteLocated in the heart of North Carolina this furniture retailer is full of southern charm. The family-owned company was founded in 1917, and sells many affordable items that bring warmth to any home. I used a light color pallette, distressed wood, and lace patterns to make a shopper feel at home.
