I have been interested in the arts since I was young, but I started becoming very serious about painting after taking a class in college. My work is inspired by nature and all of the interesting and mysterious creatures that can be found there. I enjoy contrasting bright and dull colors to try and capture the complexities of each creature, person, or landscape.
